ABOUT US

Yoga By Donation was founded by Tom and Evalyn with a simple belief: yoga, meditation, and healing practices should be accessible, thoughtful, and rooted in lived experience.

Originally established as a physical studio in downtown Portsmouth, New Hampshire, Yoga By Donation grew organically over the years — expanding from yoga into meditation and healing arts in response to the needs of its students. In 2020, the community transitioned fully online, allowing Yoga By Donation to continue serving students locally and around the world.

Today, Yoga By Donation offers live, online classes that emphasize safety, awareness, and intentional movement. Practices are designed to reduce stress, prevent injury, and support deeper connection between body and mind.

Yoga By Donation is a non-profit organization, sustained since 2009 through a donation-based model. The community spans across the United States, Canada, and Europe, growing through word of mouth rather than advertising — guided by the belief that meaningful practice speaks for itself.
